Salgo de Oro! — “I'm golden. Mom's covered.” That is what our members say, and it is the name of Cuidado de Oro's tranquilidad membership: a backup and watch-over layer you arrange separately from regular hourly service. It is made for two families: those who already have their caregiver — private or a family member — and need backup when that caregiver can't make it, coverage during hospital stays, and someone keeping an eye on things; and the families of independent seniors who are doing fine but live alone. You sign up calmly, today: the day your loved one needs something, you don't have to find anyone or solve anything from afar — one call, and your assigned care manager coordinates everything. You see it all in your private portal, wherever you are.
Not insurance: it is a membership for coordination and non-clinical services. Launching in Caguas and Puerto Rico's East region. Apoyo $99/month (or $499 the first year), Respaldo $299/month and Tranquilidad $399/month, with a one-time $99 activation — free with the annual plan.
How it works
You sign up and pay from where you live. Your loved one receives the care in Puerto Rico. And you receive proof of every task.
You call or WhatsApp us at 939-392-6801 and your benefit activates: backup if your caregiver can't make it, the hospital companion, the appointment, the errand or the emergency. Your call is answered within 30 minutes or less, 24/7.
Every service is provided by verified Cuidado de Oro staff, coordinated by your assigned care manager, who already knows your loved one's file — never an improvised stranger.
Every task generates a report in your private family portal and a WhatsApp summary: who went, what was done, how your loved one is doing. Reports in English if you prefer.
When you enroll
So that the day something happens there's nothing left to look up, when you activate your membership we record everything that matters. When the moment comes — an appointment, a hospitalization, an emergency — the team already has every detail at hand and acts immediately.
You sign up and pay from where you live. Your loved one receives the care in Puerto Rico, accompanied by a team that knows them by name. Activation is a one-time $99 fee that covers the initial evaluation and this complete file setup — and it is free if you pay the annual plan in advance.

Their appointments are scheduled and confirmed, your loved one arrives accompanied, and you receive the report on what the doctor indicated.
Your loved one's prescriptions and medications are picked up at their pharmacy and delivered to their home. Because this service is non-clinical, medications are never administered: they are picked up, delivered, and you receive the confirmation.
Groceries, pharmacy and household errands, coordinated by our team without you having to lift a finger from afar.
You know how your loved one is doing without having to travel: short route visits (30 minutes) to check on them at home, with a report for you after each one: monthly on Apoyo and weekly on Respaldo and Tranquilidad.
Plumbing, electrical, deep cleaning and more with verified providers: you only pay for the service; your team handles the coordination, according to your plan.
Additional hours of companionship and higher-assistance care are billed at your preferential member rate.
If their caregiver — ours, a private one, or a family member — can't make it, you don't have to solve it: a verified replacement arrives, with priority for you. Outside the membership, coordinating an urgent replacement costs $75 per event; for you, it is included.

When you enroll, your loved one's home is reviewed for fall risks — lighting, rugs, bathroom and hallways — and you receive the recommendations in writing.
We leave the emergency protocol in writing at your loved one's home, with a digital copy for you: who to call, in what order, and what to do while we get there.
Your loved one's key documents — ID, health plan, doctors, pharmacy, contacts — organized in a single folder from the start.
On top of the report from every task, you receive a monthly summary of everything coordinated for your loved one: appointments, pickups, errands and visits, in a single view.
Your care manager reminds you ahead of time about your loved one's upcoming appointments and prescription renewals, so nothing slips by.
Once a year we review with you the government and community programs your loved one may qualify for, so no benefit is left on the table.
3-hour visits for shopping, pharmacy pickups, banking, medical appointment accompaniment and recreation: 1 a month on Respaldo and 2 a month on Tranquilidad.
Basic home cleaning: once a month on Respaldo, and inside the long visits on Tranquilidad.
If your loved one is hospitalized, a caregiver stays with them 5 days per event (shifts of up to 12 hours), up to 2 events a year, at no cost. Plus the emergency room: up to 24 hours per event, up to 3 events a year.
Every week, a scheduled call to your loved one to check how they are doing and keep them company — with a note for you in your summary.
If a second family member in the same household needs the plan, they join your membership with no activation fee.
On every plan, your family has one care manager who knows the case from beginning to end: coordinates every service, knows the file, and answers for your family. No repeating the story. On Tranquilidad, your manager is dedicated and your case has top priority.

Which plan fits you? If you want the basic backup net, the 24/7 line and emergency coverage: Apoyo. If you want eyes on your loved one every week and the month's errands handled: Respaldo. If you want to delegate everything — visits, basic cleaning and the full protection in the emergency room and the hospital: Tranquilidad. Tranquilidad's visits alone are worth the plan at regular rates; the protection comes as a gift.
Transparency
Salgo de Oro! is an additional product, independent from Cuidado de Oro's regular hourly service: it does not replace it, reduce it, or take anything away from it. Keep your caregiver as always — ours or a private one — with the membership on top, as your backup and your watch-over layer.
At enrollment you pay a one-time $99 activation fee, which covers the initial evaluation and the complete file setup, the home safety evaluation, the emergency plan and the peace-of-mind folder. If you pay the annual plan in advance, activation is free. On Tranquilidad, the entry fee is $499 the first year — free if you pay the full year in advance — and the launch price stays frozen for 12 months.
The membership is paid monthly in advance by credit or debit card — including US cards — ATH Móvil, or check payable to Christopher Gutiérrez Gómez. No hidden fees: you pay your plan and any additional hours you authorize, nothing more.
The priority line, member rates, portal and coordination are active from the first day. The included emergency-room and hospitalization hours activate after 30 days of membership: the plan is arranged calmly, so it is ready when it is needed.
Each plan includes the benefits shown in its table, with clear caps per event and per year: the emergency room up to 12 or 24 hours per event depending on the plan, and on Tranquilidad, hospitalization of 5 days per event (shifts of up to 12 hours). Included visits and tasks do not roll over from one period to the next. Additional hours are always billed at your member rate and only with your authorization.
The initial commitment is 3 months; after that, the membership continues month to month and can be cancelled with 30 days' notice.
Salgo de Oro! launches in Caguas and Puerto Rico's East region, and expands region by region as the team of verified caregivers grows.
Cuidado de Oro coordinates and provides non-clinical companionship services; Salgo de Oro! is not insurance. We do not offer nursing, medication administration or medical services: when your loved one needs clinical care, we help you coordinate it with the corresponding professionals.
