San Juan is home to Puerto Rico's largest medical district, and when a loved one is hospitalized, the family wants to be there at every moment. The reality is that work, kids, and distance don't always allow it. Your loved one has a caregiver in the room who attends to them, observes every detail, and leaves everything documented — so you can rest knowing someone responsible is watching over them.
We cover Hospital Auxilio Mutuo (Hato Rey), Hospital Pavia Santurce, Hospital Metropolitano (San Juan), and metro-area hospitals.

In the room
Our hospital companion in San Juan doesn't sit around watching the clock. They work shoulder to shoulder with the nursing staff and keep the family informed of everything that happens.
Bathes the participant and keeps them clean, comfortable, and well-groomed throughout the hospitalization, with the respect and tenderness they deserve.
Serves meals, helps with eating when needed, and flags it if the participant isn't eating well — because nutrition is part of recovery too.
Logs everything the nursing staff administers: times, medication names, and treatments. Nothing is left to memory.
Takes and records vital signs for continuous monitoring that complements the hospital's clinical staff.
Speaks with the doctors, nursing staff, and the social worker to coordinate discharge and post-hospitalization care. The family never has to chase information.
At the end of each shift, delivers everything documented in a clear report: what was done, what was observed, and what's next. The family always knows.
Clear limits: we're strictly non-clinical. Your loved one receives no wound care, injections, or medication administration from the caregiver: the hospital's nursing staff handles that. If the participant needs clinical services, we refer them to an agency with nursing.
Coverage in San Juan
In San Juan, going back and forth to the hospital gets complicated with traffic, parking, and family visits arriving from other towns. Our caregiver becomes the family's eyes inside the room: present, attentive, asking, documenting — so that when you arrive, you find your loved one well cared for and a clear report of what happened in your absence.
Is your loved one hospitalized in another metro-area town? We also bring caregivers to Carolina, Guaynabo y Cataño. Also check out our hospital caregivers page and all our service areas.
