Hospital Caregiver in LuquilloNot just companionship — care that feels like home.

In Luquillo, the town's CDT handles day-to-day emergencies — but when the situation is serious, the participant is referred to the Fajardo hospitals. Whether at the Luquillo CDT emergency room, the Caribbean Medical Center, or the Hospital HIMA San Pablo, a background-checked caregiver stays in the room with your loved one: bathes them, serves their meals, logs everything nursing administers, takes vital signs, speaks with the doctor and the social worker to coordinate discharge, and hands you a documented report of each shift.

Hospital companion care in Luquillo

From the Luquillo CDT to the Fajardo hospital, with the same person

Luquillo is a small town with a single health center, and families here know the road well: a serious nighttime emergency ends in Fajardo. That means the admitted loved one is fifteen or twenty minutes from home, and the family has to split itself between the hospital, work, and everything else. Our hospital caregiver closes that gap. They stay in the room as if they were home: watching for when nursing passes the medication, making sure the participant eats, that bathing happens calmly, and that nothing important gets lost in the shift change. At the end of each shift, the family receives the documented report with everything that happened — no guessing, no asking around the hallways.

Coverage

We cover all three scenarios for Luquillo residents.

The Luquillo CDT is the town's health center, with an emergency room for immediate care. When the participant needs hospitalization, the usual transfer is to Fajardo: the Caribbean Medical Center — a general hospital with a 24-hour emergency room on Ave. Osvaldo Molina — or the Hospital HIMA San Pablo Fajardo. Our caregiver accompanies the participant at any of the three, and communicates with the doctor on duty and the social worker to coordinate discharge and post-hospitalization care at the Luquillo home.

And when discharge comes, many families bring us home for recovery: hospital care, a documented report for the family, and a home care plan without starting from scratch.

Frequently asked questions

What families in Luquillo ask us

The hospital service costs $16 per hour, with a minimum of 4 hours per visit ($64). It's priced per shift: the 8-hour shift costs $128 and the 12-hour shift costs $192. The evaluation is no-obligation, and we send you the quote in writing.

Both. We cover the Luquillo CDT, the town's health center and emergency room, and we accompany Luquillo participants who are referred or admitted to the Fajardo hospitals: Caribbean Medical Center y el Hospital HIMA San Pablo Fajardo.

Not just companionship — care that feels like home: bathes the participant, serves meals, logs everything the nursing staff administers (time, medication name, or treatment), takes vital signs, communicates with the doctor and the social worker to coordinate discharge and post-hospitalization care, and hands you a documented report of everything that happened each shift.

No. We're strictly non-clinical: the caregiver doesn't administer medications, do wound care, or give injections. The hospital's nursing staff handles everything clinical; the caregiver documents and observes to keep the family informed. If you need clinical services, we refer you to an agency with nursing.
