Care in Fajardo
Fajardo is a seaside town. Here, older adults grew up between the plaza and the coast, with routines that belong to them: morning coffee, Sunday mass at Catedral Santiago Apóstol, the stroll through Plaza Antonio Rafael Barceló to greet the neighbors. Aging at home means not having to give up any of that.
Many Fajardo families are spread between the town, the metro area, and the United States. When you can't be there every day, a caregiver becomes your eyes and hands in Fajardo: someone who accompanies your mom or dad to appointments at Hospital HIMA San Pablo Fajardo or Caribbean Medical Center, reminds them of their routine medications, prepares their meals, and keeps an eye on everything running well at home.
Our caregivers also accompany outings that bring back the joy of living: a calm afternoon at Balneario Seven Seas, a visit to Villa Marina to see the boats, or simply sitting down to chat on the porch. Home care isn't just practical help — it's company that respects each person's story.
From the base in Caguas we arrive on time all over Fajardo, with a primary caregiver and backup if someone can't make it. The evaluation is no-commitment, and we hand you the quote in writing, per visit or per week.
Recovering at home
When a loved one leaves Hospital HIMA San Pablo Fajardo or Caribbean Medical Center, the first days at home are the most delicate. Our non-clinical post-op support helps with that transition: mobility assistance, preparing suitable meals, company during recovery, and help keeping the home routine the family asks us to follow.
We also offer accompaniment to follow-up medical appointments: we take your family member to their appointment and share a summary of what was discussed, so you stay in the loop even if you live in San Juan or off the island.
This service is strictly non-clinical. We don't offer nursing, wound care, or medication administration. If the case requires clinical care, we'll refer you to an agency with nursing.
